For Assassins Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok I had to create a few procedural rules to be used in the wider world. These consist of a terrain material, it's automatic adjustment on slopes/rocks/height and foliage scatter on these materials. Trees bushes and low foliage like grass and other, creating a consistent natural biome.
This one is an open hills landscape , for one part of the world. Lush green hills to contrast the pine forest.
