For Assassins Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok , I also worked on color correction on a huge number of textures for the game.
Since we wanted the world to be much colder and more nordic than what was existing in the main game, we had to color correct all ground and dirt to a much darker and desaturated colors and grass to be darker green.
This was a complicated process encompassing hundreds of textures across , terrain , decals, objects. Since memory could've been a concern I also managed the mass replacement of all corrected assets and decals.
In the end result is really striking and cold looking, unique for our piece of the game.
